Dr. Ryo Hosaka
Dr. Ryo Hosaka (pronounced Ree-o Ho-sa-ka) was born and raised in South Florida. He graduated from Duke University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, and completed his dental training at the Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in South Florida where he graduated at the top of his class.
Dr. Hosaka entered the General Practice Residency Program at the University of Washington, which allowed him to attain advanced training in Hospital Dentistry and all fields of General Dentistry.
He finds dentistry exciting and enjoyable because it gives him the opportunity to interact with patients and contribute to their well-being. As a constant learner, Dr. Hosaka finds pleasure in striving to improve his knowledge and skills on a daily basis. His goal is to provide the highest quality of care and comfort to his patients. Above all, Dr. Ryo Hosaka promises to listen to your needs.
After practicing for several years in the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Hosaka and his wife decided to return to the South to be closer to his family. They enjoy hiking, traveling, cooking and finding memorable new things to see.
Karen is our office’s leading authority on dental hygiene. Combining a balance of the latest hygiene technology and quality patient instruction with home care recommendations, Karen works with our patients to better understand that your oral health is paramount to your body’s overall health. Karen provides our patients with simple self-care techniques to assure that your dental visit is an enjoyable one that extends beyond your in-office experience.
Karen attended the University of Georgia and got her Dental Hygiene degree at Georgia Highlands College. She enjoys reading, painting, traveling and playing with her puppy, Charlie Sue.
Sarah is originally from Savannah, GA. Her father was in the military so she grew up in many places around the US including Alaska, Washington, and Maryland. Sarah loves to see people smile which is what drew her into the dental field. She is dedicated to improving the smiles of all of her patients and is enthusiastic about educating her patients on steps to expand their oral care and over all well-being. Sarah graduated from Clayton State University with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. In her spare time she still loves to travel and spend time outdoors. She enjoys running, biking, kickboxing, and strength training to maintain her health and fitness.
Patient Care Coordinator
Miki (pronounced like “Mickey” Mouse) was born in Japan and raised in Australia for 16 years before moving to America in 2008. Her hobbies include cooking, baking, knitting/crocheting, travelling and going on road trips. She recently had the opportunity to complete a road trip spanning from Seattle WA all the way to West Palm Beach FL with her husband which they both absolutely loved.
Malika was born and raised in Atlanta, GA. She attended Atlanta Technical College, where she received her Expanded Function Dental Assistant degree. She is married to a wonderful husband who retired from the Armed Force Services. They also have a spontaneous daughter, a female Morkie (Yorkshire terrier & Maltese), and a male Siberian Husky. On Malika’s spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying up to date with her cosmetology skills, engaging in home projects, and traveling the world.
Daisy is a happy and outgoing person. She enjoys outside activities such as hiking, rock climbing, and many others. She enjoys traveling, recently she went to Cuba and had an amazing experience. She’s got a couple more places on her bucket list that she plans to go to like Ireland, Iceland, Japan, and many more!
